Steve is a seasoned "mortgage veteran" in the Mortgage business since 2001. He’s originated and processed his loans, managed 3 branches of a large multi-state team, and taken over ownership of mortgage companies. In 2011… after 10 years in the business he learned that almost HALF of the Veterans who were buying a home were NOT informed about the VA loan and the benefits of the loan.  This was due to the ignorance and laziness of those Loan Originators… which he admits that he WAS at that time.  After taking a course to learn more about the VA loan it sent him on the direction to Serve Veterans.  Since then, he has helped start a nationwide training program for Loan Originators: training and certifying over 650 originators to be the “go to” VA lenders in their markets across the country.  Steve has consistently been the top (or one of the tops) VA Loan Originators in the State of MN for several years.  Local Realtors know he is the main POC for the Twin Cities and western WI if they want their military homebuyer to get a loan done smoothly and on-time.
